We hired Sam Scofield to design our house on the recommendation of our realtor. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. Sam has designed and implemented several projects for us at our home in Stowe. These projects included renovation of our home’s entry room; construction of an attached garage with apartment/studio space on the second floor; and construction of a covered porch. We always had older homes so when we decided to make the move to Vermont seven years ago we decided to build new. Our experience with Sam Scofield could not have been better. Not only did we see him in Vermont during the design stage but he came to see our current home in Brookline, Ma to more fully understand what we were looking for in Vermont.
He guided us to the right builder from the four we interviewed knowing the builder’s and our personalities.
He figuratively held our hand throughout the building process often meeting us on site. He is incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of the process.
From the day the foundation was started to us moving in our home took a month less then expected.
It has been seven years and we still love our home in no small part to our great architect!
